So this gets 3 stars because once put together it will work and is sturdy enough.This also gets 3 stars because even after using a drill to put the 30 tiny screw into the back of this thing into spaces that did not have pre drilled holes, my wrist hurts from the pressure exerted to get them to go in. A testament to that part of the wood, but not to the forethought for ease of assembly.Speaking of ease of assembly the directions are terrible. You need a magnifying glass to try and decipher pictures because there is no zoomed in bits to show which direction things go, and I actually had to take off and redo all the tracks inside for the drawers because I don’t have a technical mind that can see how those should go. It would be great if there were more written instructions and if the pieces the drawers roll on were labeled in such a way that they said which piece they go on. It would also be a good idea to make sure every piece is numbered, not just a few of them.When I see "manufactured wood" I usually think "Cheap Junk". However, the manufactured wood in this product is really dense and hard. I now believe the technology has gotten much better). I think it is going to hold up to my abuse very well.With that said, I read several negative reviews on this product and most of what I have seen is that some people are blaming the manufacturer for their inability to follow the instructions and/or their not understanding the mechanics of things.There is one that complained about the product being junk because the drawers fall out of the tracks. That is what happens if the tracks are installed upside-down (Reversed from left to right) The tracks themselves are clearly stamped "L" and "R" so you can be sure what the proper orientation is.There is another review on this thread showing the "bends" in the tracks. THE BENDS ARE INTENTIONAL! (Please note photos of similar products) This is NOT a manufacturer defect. Those bends at the ends of the tracks are what keep the drawers closed. When you push the drawer in, the roller on the back of the drawer rides on the upper part of the inner track. When it gets to the bend, gravity causes the roller to follow the bend up the track and the drawer will actually "pull itself in" for the last inch or two and this causes the drawer to STAY CLOSED after you close it. ALL of the inner tracks (the parts that go on the cabinet side) are made this way.The instructions are pretty clear if you study them and pay attention to the details. The parts are all well labeled so you know which parts go where. If you have trouble with this sort of thing, you may want to opt for professional assembly instead of bashing the manufacturer for assembly/instruction-following issues.I had absolutely no problem figuring out how this thing went together. There are a LOT of screws and a LOT of repetition in assembling 6 identical drawers. I can see where it would be really easy to assemble the drawer glides incorrectly if you are not paying close attention, as the difference between left and right is real subtle unless you are familiar with how the drawer glides are actually designed to work. But again, the glides are CLEARLY stamped in case you get confused.I am a retired automotive technician and understand the mechanics behind how things work, so I admit that I may be at a slightly unfair advantage when it comes to assembling stuff like this. With that said, I found this VERY easy to deal with. I have no doubt I will be enjoying this purchase for years to come.NO, I am not receiving any compensation for my review. Great quality and customer serviceIt's all cheap plywood at least if it breaks we can get the parts from lowes or home depot.In a world of inexpensive junk that needs to be replaced every other year, It’s refreshing to know that some people still make a quality product. Right out of the box it felt of sturdiness, nice and heavy! I personally use wood glue on everything like this I build, it helps the longevity. Your call, but either way, From everything fitting together perfectly, to high quality drawer slides, and the use of screws on the thicker than expected backing, this thing is built to last. Several Pieces yes but it’s worth the price and the qualityThe drawers stink bad. I have had it open to air out, put sachets in it and it still smells. Why????The look is ok for the price but they gave to do dime thing about the wood smelling so bad.When I went to assemble the dresser there were parts missing. Base board to drawers, fastening hardware. But by time I noticed the shortages I was almost finished assembling the unit. And we needed it so I had to go out and either make the part or purchase the missing hardware. Make sure to check everything.Not even had it a year and ever bracket on the drawers has fallen off and now not one drawer works cheap material and terrible quality feel like I got ripped off buying this picture looks great but what you get is not good at all . Feel the vendor should credit me back or Amazon for carrying this quality.Love this dresser. It is the perfect size for the end of our front entrance closet. Love the grey colour and the style is classy. The 6 drawers are perfect with two drawers each for my husband, daughter and myself to keep mitts, hats and scarves organized. Definitely recommend!Arrived with a couple of minor scratches.Extremely sturdy should last many years.Very attractiveWill take you quite a few hours to assemble even if you know what you're doing. Only buy it if you are quite handy and have lots of time.I bought two but the second one was incorrectly produced and assembly cannot be completed
