It's not hard to put together but there is a point where you have several dowels in place that must "hold" until you can fit another piece in...not easy for someone who isn't "handy." Also the back "cover" doesn't really fit into place on one side, and so you have to nail at an angle.After all that, it looks good, drawers operate, and fits the motif of the room. Not much to complain about.This is the kind of furniture your kid can climb on without ruining it. The wood isnt great as far as woods go, but its way better than the mdf crap you usually find at this price point. My only gripe is that the amount of space offered by the drawers ends up feeling a bit restrictive for the size of the dresser. The dowel/sliding system for the drawers also isnt my favorite, but it works.When I see a product description and it says “dresser” I automatically assume, it’s a standard size dresser. Please pay attention to the dimensions on this piece. It’s more like an oversized nightstand than a dresser. You can not fit actual clothing inside of it. It’s very sturdy and well built, but not worth it, in my opinion.I've been assembling a lot of furniture lately. This was my favorite, by far. All hardware was packaged in shrink wrap and was excellent quality. Wood is dense and durable, not partical board. Instructions were easy to follow. The exterior surface is kind of a plastic mold but looks like wood. Should hold up well; not prone to scuffs or water marks. I am using this under a homemade office desk which is a countertop that runs the length of one wall. It fits perfectly.This rustic little dresser was really easy to assemble. The directions were accurate and all the pieces fit together beautifully. I did it without any help and I'm a 72 yr old lady. 4 of the drawers are deep and the bottom one is shallow, but for a small unit, it is a good value for the money.This is the perect size and look for my needsBeautiful! Easy to set up.
