I am very pleased with this runner. I don't recall if it stated in the description, but the fringe looks like tatting, which is like a fine crochet, and it's beautiful. The color is perfect (ivory/beige linen). I got the 54 inch for use on my dark wood coffee table. There were some wrinkles, but that's to be expected with this type of fabric. I recommend and would purchase again.
